はじめに
Raspberry Pi 3B に Ubuntu 22.04 をインストールしました。
メモリー1GB、SDカードは16GBというスペックに対し、どの程度使えるのか未知数でしたが、アプリケーションのインストール等のノウハウが得やすいと考え、Ubuntu Server 22.04.4 LTS (64-bit) をインストールしました。

設定変更を行う際にエディタが起動する場面で、環境変数 EDITOR を変更しても、nano が起動してしまうケースがありました。
下記で設定しておくのが良いようです。
$ sudo update-alternatives --config editor There are 4 choices for the alternative editor (providing /usr/bin/editor). A start job is runnig for Wait for Network to be Configured
インストール後、上記のメッセージが表示され、Ubuntuの起動が2分以上待たされる事象がありました。
netplan にて各イーサネットアダプタ(eth0、wlan0等)に対して optional: true を設定しておくと良いようです。
事実、wlan0側が接続されており、eth0にnetplan未設定だった時には事象が発生しましたが、設定後は発生しなくなりました。
